Last month, we put out a call to help fill our freezer. You and others, just like you, responded generously.

Thanks to you, we now have working freezers and refrigerators to safely hold food for hundreds of hungry families we feed every day.

As you can imagine, the demand for food has risen sharply over the last few weeks. Maybe you’ve seen images on the news of cars lined up for miles with people desperate for food.

As unemployment rises, so does the need for food.

The line outside Elijah’s Promise soup kitchen, snakes around the block. People aren’t in cars, but on foot, waiting patiently. Otherwise, they don’t eat.

Thanks to you and the generosity of others, everyone who waits in line gets food for the day.

Our guests are no longer allowed inside to eat, but instead are given a hot meal, plus a bagged one to-go.

But our supplies are running low. We are asking you once more to help fill our freezer.

Please consider a monthly donation to help ensure no one goes to bed hungry tonight or in the coming weeks and months.
